I do have many relatives in Italy, but they're widespread. My mother was Sicilian(her parents from Messina and Catania). My father was born on Ponza; his mother was from Capri, and his father's family was from Florence. So I definitely have a vested interest in Italy.

I haven't heard of Maria Giovanna Maglie, but I will check out the site you included. By the way, My name was supposed to be Giovanna, but my parents thought I would be made fun of in American schools. Che peccato.
