I have read Maurice many years ago, maybe twenty, and I keep jealously my old copy. It is a wonderful novel, a romance indeed, cause at the end Maurice found his true love.

I have also read your novel, Standish: even if I'm amused to reading the reviews defining it as a gay "bodice ripper" I'm not really of the same idea. The relationship between Standish and Rafe is not of that kind. Rafe worships Standish and set him on a pedestal; but, in the end, Standish is a man, and he will fight like a man.
