answer to comment # 12 (Drakon)
Thank you, Drakon; I hope you enjoy the books.
I also love real history in fiction, and I try to include at least a little in each book, like the Leonardo painting in What A Woman Needs. The spymaster I used in my next series was interesting because he wasn't spying on foreign affairs, but on domestic: a British government official spying on other British citizens. There was so much potential for suspense and conflict, and the times were so turbulent (1820), I thought there were a lot of story possibilities. I hope people enjoy the series!
answer to comment # 13 (Lory)
Thank you, Lory. I would be thrilled to see my other books in Italian.
answer to comment # 15 (Maristella)
Thank you , Maristella. I confess: I made Charlotte thirty years old because that's how old I was at the time I wrote it, and I knew my life had improved a great deal since I was eighteen--looking back, I was completely clueless about so many things, and I did want to write a heroine whom I could relate to. All my heroines, regardless of age, have been around a bit, either through being older, being married and widowed, struggling to survive, or just through unusual life circumstances. Not only does it make them a more interesting character, it gives me more realistic possibilities as an author in writing them.
And to the best of my knowledge, I don't know of any more Italian translation. However, I am usually the last to know.

Thank you, Susa! Yes, I do love Ware. He shows up, briefly, in another of my books, What A Rogue Desires
