[[Tales from the Inn]]

This is a project that my good friend JC Wilder and I came up with. We want to do a series of erotic novellas that all take place in a haunted inn or bed-and-breakfast. Of course it has to have paranormal elements!

The stories will center around three sisters. The first sister is fixing up an old Victorian house to turn into a B&B; the second sister will come in and do the decorating; the third sister, who is a genius in the kitchen, will come in and run it.

While researching the techniques used in refurbishing old houses, I can across a real B&B in North Carolina that is in what used to be the only stop on the old wagon road through the mountains. It was a bar, a restaurant and an inn, and during the Roaring 20s was rumored to be a speakeasy that was visited by more than a few senators and governors!

Instantly I had a vision of the ghosts of three, ahem, "ladies of the evening" who lived and worked there during the 1800s, and their ghosts live in the attic. At first all they want is to get rid of the new owner and be left in peace, but then they decide she's not a bad sort after all. :)

It's going to be sexy and fun, and I hope readers enjoy it. JC and I intend to submit it to Samhain Publishing shortly.
