I can sympathize with what you have suffered! Since I was diagnosed so young, I don't remember what life was like without it. I feel for people who were diagnosed later in life. I think it must be harder to adjust.

I was lucky to find an online message board for people like me, but it is not Italian. I hope you can find something like that in Italy.

I have long dreamed of visiting Italy! I don't know where I would start, there are so many places I want to see! Rome, Venice, Siena, Florence...

We have been fortunate to be able to travel to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Paris and the Bavarian region of Germany. Italy is high on our list of places to visit should be be lucky enough to get the chance to go back!
