Lord Dain will always have a special place in my heart--and I am happy to share him with those who love him, too. I've looked for a real face for him, but the closest I've come was a portrait of Ippolito de Medici. I think you should picture him as you wish. James is quite a different hero, but I'm hoping you'll like him, too. I love historical set movies! Also, I am trying to watch more Italian movies, to practice my Italian, so I shall welcome suggestions. But no tragedies, please. I like to watch movies that

are a little lighthearted, with a happy ending or at least plenty of humor.

Yes, I did wonder how readers would react to Francesca, but I had so much fun with her that I believed readers would, too. I think that all women have, somewhere deep, a little naughtiness--some of us have more than others--and I hoped this would make a bond with readers. Also, I hoped that readers would appreciate her courage and strength of will--to survive the heartbreak and scandal and create a place for herself--and the deep love she is capable of giving to the man who is worthy of her.

Grazie Andreina! E' davvero una gioia essere qui. Vorrei solo poter conversare in modo fluente con voi.

Lord Dain avrà sempre un posto speciale nel mio cuore--e sono felice di condividerlo con tutte coloro che lo amano come me. Ho cercato di trovare un volto reale per lui, ma quello che si è avvicinato di più era un ritratto di Ippolito de Medici. Penso che dovresti immaginarlo come più desideri. James è un eroe del tutto diverso, ma spero che ti piacerà anche lui.

Adoro i film storici! Sto anche cercando di guardare molti film italiani, per fare pratica con l'Italiano, così accetto consigli.

Ma che non siano tragedie, vi prego. Mi piacciono i film un po' leggeri, con un lieto fine o con tanto umorismo.

Sì, mi sono chiesta come sarebbe stata la reazione delle lettrici a Francesca, ma mi sono talmente divertita con lei che credo che anche loro si divertiranno. Penso che tutte le donne siano un po' "cattive ragazze" in fondo in fondo -- alcune di noi lo sono di più altre di meno-- e io spero che questo possa creare un legame con le lettrici. In più, spero che le lettrici apprezzeranno il suo coraggio e la sua forza di volontà--nel sopravvivere a un cuore spezzato e allo scandalo e nel crearsi una vita sua-- e l'amore profondo che è capace di offrire all'uomo che è degno di lei.
