As for books that I read and writers I like, well, I am not very faithful to any writer in particular. Since you mentioned that you prefer a bit more classical genre, I can tell you that I really enjoyed the classic Gothic novels by Edgar A. Poe and Oscar Wilde. As for the vampires, I find that the movies are more fun, and there are only a couple of books on the subject that I would really recommend- “Dracula” by Bram Stoker and “The Historian” by Elisabeth Kostova” (this second is very rich in historical details). I also often wonder into my husband's side of the bookshelf and pick a good occult fiction by Dean Koontz; not classic, but well written! (“The Face”- a guardian angel story,”Lightening”-time travel, or “Odd Thomas” series – a boy who sees dead people and helps them in their missions that were left unaccomplished). These are not classified as romance , but they all have a love story somewhere in the background.

Si, ora mi ricordo che Anna ha menzionato il dono particolare di Keir! Un altro intrigante e piacevole dettaglio in questo libro!

Riguardo ai libri che leggo ad autori che mi piacciono, devo dire che non sono fedele a nessuno in particolare. Siccome ha detto che preferisce un genere un po' più classico, posso dirle che le storie gotiche di Edgar A. Poe e Oscar Wilde sono molto piacevoli da leggere. I vampiri, invece, mi piacciono di piu' sul grande schermo, e fra I libri che trattano questo genere le potrei raccomandare forse due- “Il Dracula” di Bram Stoker ed “Il Discepolo” di Elisabeth Kostova” (quest'ultimo ricchissimo nei dettagli storici). Spesso mi avventuro anche fra I libri di mio marito e prendo qualche buon fiction occulto scritto da Dean Koontz; non sono classici, ma sono scritti bene! (Ad esempio “The Face”- storia con un angelo custode, “The Lightening”- viaggio nel tempo o la serie “Odd Thomas” - la storia di un ragazzo che puo' vedere le persone morte e alle quali assiste nel finire le missioni rimaste incompiute). Questi libri non sono classificati come romance, ma tutte in qualche modo contengono nel sottofondo una storia d'amore.
