Thank you for such
Thank you for such interesting questions, Andreina. I'm so pleased you like the covers of my books! When I started writing for HQN I wasn't offered any input into choosing my covers and had to accept what the publisher suggested. Luckily they chose beautiful covers for me! However, with the new trilogy that I have coming out from June they consulted me over the covers and I was so excited to be involved and think that what we have come up with is wonderful. They are all on display now on my website.
I haven't set a book in Italy yet because I don't know enough about the country's history. I would need to do lots more research before I was confident. Having said that, Italy is a very appealing setting and I would love to write a book set there one day - and I love reading books with Italian backgrounds.
Characters' names often come to me when I am developing them and they feel "right." For example, I just knew that Catriona had to be called that! It suited her fiery nature!
I have thought of writing a story about a heroine who lives in a cottage haunted by a knight's ghost! I'd like it to be a book where there are two stories intertwined, one historical and one contemporary.
Thank you and I hope that you enjoy Deceived when you read it!
