Absolutely not. I know British ladies like to read about “Continental men” and I am sure the Americans do too. After all many Americans have Italian ancestry. I mean if you want a handsome man, look at the Italians! I think southern Europeans are interesting and different. I have written about Spanish men and this is my first stab at Italians. I love Italy too and I thought it was about time I did something about that. Perhaps there is an Italian Publisher who might be interested in publishing the novel – that would be fantastic. I did actually, years ago, sell one of my novels to an Italian publishing house, it came back in one of those thin paper booklets. I think they are still being published as I spotted some when I was in Tuiscany, it would be great if they took Shadows of the Past…finger’s crossed eh? Thank you for your question.

Assolutamente no. So che alle donne inglesi piace leggere sugli “uomini dal Continente”, e sono certa che vale lo stesso per le donne americane. Alla fine, molti americani hanno le origini italiane. Voglio dire, se vuoi un bel uomo, cerca un italiano! Penso che gli europei del Sud sono interessanti e differenti. Avevo già scritto sugli uomini spagnoli, e ora è toccata la volta degli italiani. Amo l'Italia, ed era giunto il momento di fare qualcosa a proposito. Forse ci sarà qualche casa editrice italiana interessata a pubblicare questo romanzo – il ché sarebbe una cosa fantastica! Veramente, tempo fa, ho venduto uno dei miei romanzi ad una casa editrice italiana. Mi è stato mandato in forma di un libretto, che sembra che pubblichino ancora, visto che, anche non tanto tempo fa, ho notato lo stesso tipo di libri in vendita, mentre ero in Toscana. Sarebbe bellissimo se decidessero di pubblicare “Shadows of the Past”......incrociamo le dita?
